Stepping into Amangalla’s Zaal, with its soaring ceilings and chandeliers, feels like entering another era. The Great Hall leads to elegant dining and lounge areas, with a Sunset Balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean, reserved for residents.
The property offers 29 rooms and suites, plus a two-storey Garden House set amid tropical gardens and a 21-metre pool, all featuring colonial-era details and timeless charm.
Within the 200-year-old gardens, the Aman Spa provides Ayurvedic treatments, hydrotherapy suites, a yoga pavilion, nail salon, and barbershop — completing a haven of serene relaxation.
Dining
Dining at Amangalla is both elegant and intimate. The Dining Room serves refined Sri Lankan and Western cuisine, while the Veranda overlooks the tree-lined streets of the Fort — perfect for people-watching over breakfast or afternoon tea.
